Gluten-Free Oven Baked Buffalo Wings

We love this recipe because using Allergy Schatz Fried Chicken Flour , you can cut down on the time it takes to prep for this recipe. You can use vegan wings, cauliflower, or chicken wings with this recipe to please the whole family.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Allergy Schatz Chicken Flour Mix

  • 1 cup vegan butter

  • 1 cup hot sauce (liquid)

  • 25-30 chicken wings

*For cripier oven baked wings, place wings on a tray lined with paper towels. Use additional paper towels to pat wings dry. Place tray in fridge covered with an additional layer of paper towels for up to 2 days.

  1. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly cover with olive oil. Set aside.

  2. Pour Allergy Schatz Fried Chicken Flour into a large bowl along with half of the chicken wings. Cover with a plate and shake bowl to toss wings in mix. Pull  wings from mix and place on baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Repeat process for second half of wings.

  3. Place sheet with wings in fridge for at least 1 hour.

  4. Remove wings from fridge and set aside. Preheat oven to 375°

  5. Place butter In an oven safe pot and put pot in oven while it is heating, until butter is mostly melted. Use potholders to safely remove pot from oven. Pour in hot sauce and use a fork whisk to stir together vigorously until thoroughly blended.

  6. Toss wings in butter mix and place wings on baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place wings in preheated oven and bake for 45 mins-1hour or until wings are fully cooked, turning wings halfway through cooking time (temperature will vary for vegan wings vs. meat based wings so be sure to check on your wings every 15 mins when you first use recipe).

  7. Remove wings from oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
